Serenade opened Off-Broadway Sunday, December 9, and many Broadway favorites attended the following performance on Monday, December 10 to catch Anika Larsen and Joshua Henry in the new musical.

Cast members from My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm In Therapy!, Enter Laughing: The Musical and Serenade presented the second in a series of four fantastic Fridays of Off-Broadway performances at the Holiday Market in Union Square.

Jaradoa Theater's first theatrical outing is an ambitious new musical called 'Serenade', in which an optimistic young silhouette artist comes to the Big City and falls in love with the first woman he sees twice.

Serenade, a new musical, opens Sunday, December 9 at Teatro La Tea (107 Suffolk Street, between Delancey & Rivington) with performances through December 15.

Jaradoa Theater presents Serenade, a new musical, beginning Saturday, December 1 through December 15 at Teatro La Tea (107 Suffolk Street, between Delancey & Rivington). The book and lyrics for Serenade are by Rachel Sheinkin, winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She also co-authored Off-Broadway's Striking 12, which recently launched a nationwide tour. The kinetic score for Serenade, composed by Nils Olaf Dolven, mixes electronica, pop and classical elements.

WGHT Radio (1500AM), North Jersey's oldies station, has just launched 'Curtain Call,' a new program covering the NY & NJ theater scene. Morning host Teisha Bader will be interviewing stars of Broadway, Off-Broadway and local theaters (including Paper Mill) every Wednesday at 9:30AM. Up this week on November 21 is Anika Larsen, currently appearing in the Broadway hit Xanadu, and soon to star Off-Broadway in Serenade.

Broadway's hit musical Xanadu has been chosen by Macy's and NBC to perform in the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Thursday, November 22 in the 9AM hour.

Jaradoa Theater is throwing its first annual 'Jaradoa BOUNCE!,' a dance party to celebrate their debut season, this Thursday, November 1 at 8PM - 1AM at Libation. The evening will feature drink specials as well as fun prizes including Broadway tickets and backstage tours to Rent and Xanadu. Admission is $15.
