Due to popular demand, Tony, Grammy & Golden Globe Award winner Bernadette Peters and Tony & Emmy Award winner Elaine Stritch have extended their stay in the Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Tony Award-winning masterpiece A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, directed by Tony Award-winner Trevor Nunn. Peters & Stritch were originally only scheduled to perform through Sunday, November 7, 2010 and will now stay with the production through its final performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 3:00 PM after 20 previews and 425 regular performances.

'Dancing Through College and Beyond' will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the sessions begin at 10am; the conference ends at 5pm. To be held at The Juilliard School, Lincoln Center Plaza, 155 West 65th Street, New York, NY 10023, this day is for students, parents and teachers to explore dance opportunities beyond high school. It is presented by Career Transition For Dancers, Dancewave, Dance/NYC and Pentacle with space generously provided by The Juilliard School. This is event is a part of Dance/NYC's College 4 Dancers and Dancewave's Kids Cafe Festival Goes to College. This is a full day of networking, information and panels to help high school students, teachers, and parents of students navigate dancing in college from applications through graduation. Free for all participants, the panels will bring together over 20 college admissions representatives, college professors, career counselors, alumni and even parents of dance program alums to give you their expert advice on how to get into the program that's right for you; make the most of all that the school has to offer and prepare for a successful career post-graduation.

In honor of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater's 50th anniversary, the theater continues its special 50th anniversary season with 'SOMETHING TO CROW ABOUT!' opening July 17 and playing through September 26, 2010. 'SOMETHING TO CROW ABOUT!' replaces the previously announced 'Bob Baker's Circus,' which could not resolve all of its production challenges in time for the opening, and is now slated for the 2011 season. The theater will also extend its Special Group Rate and Birthday Party Special for the run of 'SOMETHING TO CROW ABOUT!' through September.

There will be another performance of 'Bewitched, The Songs of Rodgers and Hart' at The Triad Theatre 158 West 72nd Street NYC (east of Broadway) by The Philhallmonic Society. The shows will be performed on Thursday, October 14th at 7:00 pm and also on Friday, October 22nd at 9:00 pm. This special event concert is a benefit for this unique organization. Bewitched is directed and arranged by international Broadway composer, conductor and producer Phil Hall, and is staged by Broadway dancer and choreographer Mark Santoro. The Philhallmonic Society delivers an unforgettable musical experience of the highest caliber. The respective performers for each of the shows will soon be announced. Tickets are only $20 for general admission* and $30 for premium seating*. There is a two drink minimum for the shows. It is cash only at the theatre.
