CPR - Center for Performance Research, an artist-driven organization co-founded by Jonah Bokaer Choreography and John Jasperse & Thin Man Dance, Inc. to support the development of new works in contemporary dance, will host the organization's annual benefit party on April 3, 2017 at the organization's Brooklyn home.

This year's Rough Draft Festival at LaGuardia Performing Arts features six new plays that are in the pre-production stage of development. Each of the plays has gone through readings and workshops in the past and the writers Melis Aker, Scott Barrow, Leila Buck, Kevin Doyle, Joey Merlo, Kyoung Park and their plays are ready for the next step.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) will debut four inventive and bold new works during their 2017 New Ground Theatre Festival. This year's New Ground will run from May 11-20.

The International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) has released three new albums over the past six months on its in-house recording label, TUNDRA, an imprint of New Focus Recordings, including George Lewis: The Will to Adorn, released in January 2017; Aesopica: Music of Marcos Balter, released in October 2016; and ism, released in September 2016.

Adventure Stage Chicago (ASC), the participatory arts program of Northwestern Settlement (the Settlement), announces a commissioned play by Lucas Baisch to premiere during its 2017-2018 season, part of the company's drive to formalize its new play creation process and align its mission to Settlement objectives. ASC creates and tells heroic stories about young people in order to engage the community and inspire everyone to be a hero in their own lives. The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra announces the 2017-2018 season programming for its BNY Mellon Grand Classics and PNC Pops series. The upcoming season of the BNY Mellon Grand Classics marks its 10th season under the musical leadership of Music Director Manfred Honeck and the orchestra's 122nd year since its founding.
