The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Stephen Eich, Executive Director) announced that full casting is complete for the premiere production of the new musical SOUTH STREET by Richard Addrisi (music and lyrics; co-writer of 'Never My Love' BMI #2-ranked Song of the Century) and Craig Carlisle (book; Bob Funk, Best New Play Ovation Award-nominee).

Cuccioli & Grant to Star in Boxing Musical CUTMAN at Goodspeed

Goodspeed Musicals, the first two-time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, is pumped to announce the cast of Cutman: a boxing musical. The brand new spring production will kick off a three show season at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. This striking musical will run from May 12 through June 5, 2011. The cast will train with the pros at the legendary Lion's Den in Middletown, Conn. Boxing equipment is generously provided by Everlast. Cutman is sponsored by Essex Savings Bank.

Review - Erotic Broadway: What's In A Name?

While calling the recent entertainment at The Triad Erotic Broadway may carry the same lack of appropriateness as expressed in the traditional arguments against the moniker Holy Roman Empire (It's really more 'cute and sexy' than erotic and the material's ties to Broadway are sporadic at best.), the cheery and playful variety show directed and choreographed by Tricia Brouk offers bouncy fun for all (legal) ages.
