Christian Borle will now join Ghostlight Records to celebrate the cast album of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS - based on the Lincoln Center Theater production - with a special in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble tomorrow, Friday, January 27 at 7:00 PM.

Today, January 22nd, 2017, the Broadway premiere of  OH, HELLO on BROADWAY, starring the two hottest voices in comedy today, Nick Kroll (Comedy Central's 'Kroll Show') and John Mulaney (Netflix's 'The Comeback Kid'), will close. 

It has been quite the whirlwind for the multi-faceted Colin Hanlon who spent this past holiday season taking on double-duty in two Broadway productions - In Transit and Falsettos. Hanlon played a large part in developing the role of Steven in the a cappella musical and is currently stepping in for Telly Leung who will return at the end of January.

Today's big news: Hundreds of organizations across the country take part in THE GHOSTLIGHT PROJECT this evening, and August Wilson's JITNEY opens tonight on Broadway!

Ghostlight Records will celebrate the cast album of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS - based on the Lincoln Center Theater production -with a special in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble on Friday, January 27 at 7:00 PM. The date also marks the album's worldwide digital release, with physical copies also available a a two-disc set available online and in stores.

Producers today have announced that OH, HELLO ON BROADWAY has officially recouped its $2.9 million capitalization, just before closing its limited run on January 22. 

On Saturday, January 14, 2017, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) hosted its annual fundraiser in Miami, theBackyard Ball performance and gala, to help support the artistic development of the nation's most promising young artists. In addition to recognizing the talent of this year's 691 YoungArts Winners, the event honored jazz pianist Jason Moran (1993 Winner in Jazz) with the Arison Alumni Award, and choreographer Jessica Lang as the Arison Award Honoree for their vital contributions and commitment to the arts. The event also featured Javon Jones's acceptance of the inaugural 2016 Max Mara Young Visionary Award presented by Maria Giulia Maramotti, Max Mara's Director of retail for North America. 

Comedy Central has renewed the Emmy® Award-winning series DRUNK HISTORY for a fifth season, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central. The 14-episode fifth season is scheduled to premiere in 2017.

Tonight, January 14, 2017, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) will host its largest annual fundraiser, the Backyard Ball performance and gala, as the culmination of the organization's signature program, National YoungArts Week, through January 15.

Lincoln Center Theater's production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS played its final performance today at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

All good things must come to a close, and the same can be said for the limited 14-week run of Lincoln Center Theater's new production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos. OH, HELLO on Broadway has shattered the box office record at the Lyceum Theatre. The show, which stars Nick Kroll and John Mulaney's inexplicably popular alter egos in their acclaimed Broadway masterpiece, grossed $911,602 over nine performances the week ending January 2. The previous record was held by the 2008 production of Macbeth, starring Patrick Stewart.

While no air date for the telecast has been announced, the revival of William Finn and James Lapine's musical will be filmed at the Walter Kerr Theatre during the January 3rd and January 4th performances.

On December 19, one month to the day after Trump's Broadway-fueled Twitter deluge, Liz Meriwether and Shira Milikowsky put on A SAFE AND SPECIAL PLACE, an evening of works written and performed by some of the theater's best and most promising talents. The event, held within the atmospheric walls of the McKittrick Hotel and which benefited The Trevor Project and Kids in Need of Defense was, as you could guess, anything but what Trump would deem "safe and special."
