Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director) has announced that their annual Gala will take place Monday, November 16, 2015 at 583 Park Avenue. The event will celebrate the company and honor Tony and Grammy-winning composer and lyricists Marc Shaiman andScott Wittman. The evening will feature musical numbers from Hairspray, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,Catch Me If You Can, and the TV show 'Smash' with presenters and performers including Obie winnerBridget Everett (Rock Bottom, Jukebox Jackie), Ana Gasteyer (Wicked, 'Saturday Night Live'), Annie Golden (Violet, 'Orange is the New Black'), emcee Jackie Hoffman (Hairspray, On the Town), Tony winnerNathan Lane (The Producers, Dedication or the Stuff of Dreams at Primary Stages), Caissie Levy (Les Miserables, Ghost, Murder Ballad), Aaron Tveit (Catch Me If You Can, Next to Normal, Grease! LIVE), Marc Shaiman (performing a number from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), and other surprise guests.

Primary Stages, in association with Amy Danis, Mark Johannes, and Dan Shaheen, presents PERFECT ARRANGEMENT, a New York premiere by Topher Payne (Swell Party, The Only Light in Reno) and directed by Michael Barakiva (White People). The Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival (perry-mansfield.org/events/3/new-works-festival) now in its 18th year, brings performing arts professionals together in the Rocky Mountains to continue Perry-Mansfield's founding principle of nurturing new talent through new work. This year's festival, taking place this weekend, June 12-13 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, will feature new works from some of America's most prestigious theater companies: Atlantic Theater Company, Denver Center for the Performing Arts Theatre Company, Primary Stages, andSouth Coast Repertory. The companies will showcase four different new works in partnership with Perry-Mansfield.

On March 10, Jeff Biehl (Poor Behavior, Machinal) joins the company of the new Primary Stages production, Lives of the Saints, currently playingat Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project through March 27, 2015. Joining current cast members Arnie Burton (Peter and the Starcatcher, The 39 Steps), Carson Elrod (All in the Timing, The Explorers Club), Kelly Hutchinson (Desire Under the Elms, Don Peyote) and Liv Rooth (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur), Biehl will assume the roles played by Rick Holmes who departs the production to begin rehearsals for The Visit on Broadway.
