Nashville Opera presents Giacomo Puccini's La bohème at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's Andrew Jackson Hall on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. Curtain for both performances is 8:00 p.m. Tickets range from $17 in the Student Section to $80 in Premiere/Orchestra section, with a limited number of 'pay-what-you-can' tickets available directly from the Nashville Opera office. A free discussion of the work takes place one hour prior to curtain in the theatre.

Nashville Opera will present the final production of the 2008-09 season, Giacomo Puccini's La boheme. The performances will be staged at TPAC's Andrew Jackson Hall at 505 Deaderick Street on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. Nashville Opera's production of La boheme is directed by John Hoomes and features the Nashville Opera Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Christopher Larkin.

La Jolla Playhouse announces updates to its 2009/2010 season. Alfred Hitchcock?s The 39 Steps, based on the beloved Alfred Hitchcock thriller, adapted for the stage by Patrick Barlow, directed by Maria Aitken, will replace the previously-announced Page-to-Stage production of The Hudsucker Proxy. The 39 Steps will run August 11 ? September 13 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.
