Producing Artistic Director, Eric Vosmeier has tendered his resignation to Know Theatre's Board of Directors. His last day at the helm of the organization will be June 30, 2014, just after the 11th Annual Cincinnati Fringe Festival and at the end of the company's 13-14 fiscal year.
Know Theatre has announced nearly a full calendar year of programming as a part or our new programming model. Several months ago Know Theatre enacted our new strategic plan which moves us away from the traditional season model allowing us more flexibility in how we approach our programming.
Coming in July, Know Theatre of Cincinnati will stir the cauldron of classic theatre with a modern take on Shakespeare's Macbeth. Toil and Trouble by Lauren Gunderson will open July 26, 2013 and run through August 24, 2013. This regional premiere is the second production following the play's world premiere at Impact Theatre in Berkeley, California. The cast is comprised of Breona Conrad, Joshua Murphy, and Chris Wesselman and is directed by Know Theatre's Producing Artistic Director Eric Vosmeier with lighting and scenic design by Andrew Hungerford, sound Design by Doug Borntrager, and costume design by Noelle Wedig.

Know Theatre has announced When The Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell, acclaimed Australian playwright and author of Speaking in Tongues (recently seen at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in 2012). Time Out Magazine's Best New Play of 2010, When the Rain Stops Falling opens on February 8, 2013 and runs through March 16, 2013. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips will direct the production, with scenic and lighting design by Andrew Hungerford, costume design by Noelle Wedig, and sound design by Doug Borntrager.
