Planet Connections 10th Annual Theatre Festivity Announces 2018 Nominees

TenthPlanet: Planet Connections 10th Annual Theatre Festivity played to packed houses and great acclaim for each production. Another sold out house was achieved for the company's annual 'Playwrights for a Cause' event, this year, benefiting the Ali Forney Center. The banner season culminates with the Planet Awards. Photo Flash: TDF's Immersive PERFORMETERIA Festival Takes Over NYC

On Monday night, March 20, Theatre Development Fund (TDF) presented the first of two evenings entitled PERFORMETERIA. PERFORMETERIA is TDF's first-ever immersive festival featured works from some of the most innovative Off-Off Broadway theatre and dance companies in New York City through its OffOff@$9 Program. Co-presented with Baruch PAC, over 500 PERFORMETERIA attendees travelled through multiple levels of theatres, nooks, and hidden venues to experience short original pieces by the participating companies. 2016 Recipients Announced for New York Innovative Theatre Awards

On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.
