Today, July 3, the New York Musical Theatre Festival hosted a press preview day in which several shows treated the audience to special performances. As previously announced, Jeremy Kushnier (Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose), Eden Espinosa (Wicked, Brooklyn), Rachel York (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Victor/Victoria) and Jack Noseworthy (A Chorus Line, Sweet Smell of Success) lead the cast of New York Musical Theater Festival's 'Stealing Time,' the latest work of writers/composers Tor Hyams and Lisa Neubauer. 'Stealing Time' will play as a special event in the 2012 New York Musical Theater Festival at the PTC Performance Space. 'Stealing Time' is the second NYMF project for Hyams coming off the success of 'Greenwood' starring Andrea McArdle in the 2011 New York Musical Theater Festival.

The Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative unveiled its Hall of Fame on June 16, honoring the musical contributions of Barry Manilow, Cole Porter and the songwriting duo of Alan and Marilyn Bergman. The Hall of Fame is conceived as an enduring testament to the Great American Songbook's artistic contributors. These artists represent the lyricists, composers and performers responsible for creating America's soundtrack.

Lost In Love, the new musical based on the hit songs of Air Supply, played the Triad Theatre on June 5, the first live follow-up to an industry-only reading in April of this year. Andrea McArdle and Constantine Maroulis returned to star in this latest installment of the production and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture some of the musical highlights.

Yesterday, June 5, theatre legend Patti LuPone opened the new nightclub and restaurant, 54 Below, with a two-week engagement of a new act that will run through June 16. Before the star took the stage for the evening performance, she treated the press to a special sneak peek of the show and BroadwayWorld was there to talk to the star and capture her memorable performance!

Yesterday, June 5, theatre legend Patti Lupone opened the new nightclub and restaurant, 54 Below, with a two-week engagement of a new act that will run through June 16. LuPone will play the venue Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Fridays and Saturdays at 11pm. LOST IN LOVE - a new musical based on the hit songs of Air Supply, which held an industry-only reading in April, plays again at the Triad Theatre tonight, June 5. The cast includes Tony-nominated actor Constantine Maroulis ('Rock of Ages,' 'American Idol') and Andrea McArdle, Broadway's original 'Annie.' Graham Russell of Air Supply will be performing on guitar and Russell Hitchcock will also be in attendance.

Nicholas Rodriguez Joins Cast of LOST IN LOVE Reading, 6/5

Nicholas Rodriguez, known to soap audiences as Nick Chavez on ABC's 'One Life to Live' for which he received a GLAAD Media Award, has joined the cast of 'LOST IN LOVE' the Air Supply musical for the sold-out staged reading on June 5 to benefit The Actors Fund. Rodriguez replaces Justin Matthew Sargent, who had a scheduling conflict.
