One month after their classic songs debut as part of the score of the new hit musical comedy, ROCK OF AGES, two unparalleled rock stars - Tommy Shaw from STYX and Kevin Cronin from REO Speedwagon - will make their Broadway debuts as they perform their new single, 'Can't Stop Rockin', immediately following the evening performance on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, 256 W. 47th Street). The performance of the new song, co-written by Cronin and Shaw, celebrates the rockers recently announced CAN'T STOP ROCKIN' 2009 Tour, which kicks off on May 12th, presented by VH1 Classic and Rock Band.

Acclaimed New York based singer/songwriter Jeremy Schonfeld will take the stage at Boston University's GSU Conference Auditorium on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 8:00pm in collaboration with Boston University's premiere musical theatre group, BU on Broadway. With music from 37 Notebooks, Drift, and other upcoming projects, the solo piano concert features special guest Amy Spanger. The concert will also feature students from BU On Broadway who auditioned for the concert via YouTube, who will collaborate with Schonfeld and Spanger to perform material in the end-of-the-semester concert.

On October 27th, former stage and screen cast members of Reefer Madness including Christian Campbell,Alan Cumming, Ana Gasteyer and Amy Spanger, celebrated the release of the new Reefer Madness CD at Joe's Pub.

The double-CD contains new Author Notes, written by By Kevin Murphy & Dan Studney, and also features a 'flipover booklet', which contains artwork and lyrics for both CDs. Murphy & Studney commented: 'This double CD of 'Reefer Madness' marks the culmination of a 10 year journey for us. It began in 1997, during a road trip back from San Francisco, where we got the idea that it might be fun to write a musical about singing, dancing potheads. Being in San Francisco can give you ideas like that.'
