Richard Move/MoveOpolis! returns to New York Live Arts as the opening performance of Live Ideas 2017 with the world premiere of XXYY, a multilayered work conceived and directed by Move, with costumes by acclaimed theater artist Alba Clemente and an original score by Italian electronic music pioneer Martux_m. Olney Theatre Center announces the extension of its current production, August Wilson's THE PIANO LESSON. The show, which opened on May 10, is now set to run an additional week through June 8, 2014. The 65th Tour of National Players has performed for thousands of people across the country, from Vermont to Texas to South Dakota. They now return to Olney Theatre Center for encore performances of their full repertory in one weekend. ODYSSEY, written by Olney Theatre Center Associate Artistic Director/Director of Education Jason King Jones, and based on Homer's epic tale of Odysseus' journey home will be performed Friday. Shakespeare's MACBETH and THE COMEDY OF ERRORS will be presented in rotating repertory on Saturday and Sunday.
