BroadwayWorld has learned that Alanis Morissette's JAGGED LITTLE PILL will make its musical debut in May 2018 at American Repertory Theatre. Diane Paulus is set to direct, with book written by Diablo Cody, and orchestrations by Tom Kitt.

The foundation of ARRABAL builds upon Argentina's tumultuous past of decaying democracy and state-sponsored terrorism while focusing on a single family affected by this conflict. The family here is a captured guerrilla fighter-slash-father, a mourning Abuela, and daughter Arrabal on a quest for closure. Despite sounding overstuffed, the title character's undeveloped journey combined with a vague use of dense themes leads to a performance piece begging to be more.

The Arizona Theatre Company Board of Trustees has named Billy Russo as full-time Managing Director to complete the executive management team following the announcement that David Ivers will assume responsibilities as Artistic Director beginning July 1.

17 McKnight Theater Artist Fellows Sonya Berlovitz (costume design), Thomasina Petrus (actor) and Kimberly Richardson (actor) will present selections from theatrical works in progress on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Mixed Blood Theatre. Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), today announced programming for the 2017 Next Wave Festival. According to an Equity casting notice, the American Repertory Theater will soon present Burn All Night- a new musical with a book and lyrics by Andy Mientus and music by Van Hughes, Nick LaGrasta, and Brett Moses.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the Globe-commissioned world premiere adaptation of The Imaginary Invalid written by Moliere and reinvented by the acclaimed theatre group Fiasco Theater. Fiasco last delighted Globe audiences with their inventive reimagining of Into the Woods in 2014.
