The newly formed Theater, Dance & Media Concentration at Harvard University launches its third production with Caryl Churchill's FAR AWAY, directed by Annie Tippe.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, will present Arrabal, with a book written by John Weidman, music by Gustavo Santaolalla / Bajofondo, choreographed by Julio Zurita, and directed and co-choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.

Yale Repertory Theatre (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) concludes its 50th Anniversary Season with the world premiere of MARY JANE by Amy Herzog, directed by Anne Kauffman, April 28 through May 20 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Friday, May 5.

The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 19 categories for the 32nd Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway.

Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber have announced the final production in the fourth season of Chicago's hit "lost" musicals in staged concert series, Porchlight Revisits On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, music by Burton Lane, book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and based on the book Berkeley Square by John L. Balderston with direction by Lili-Anne Brown, musical direction by Andra Velis Simon and starring Sharriese Hamilton and Karl Hamilton.

Imago Theatre's mentor Jacques Lecoq, a theatre icon who influenced the world on movement in the performing arts, taught a concept called  "the balance of the stage."  In 1998, Jerry Mouawad, Artistic Co-Director of Imago Theatre, designed a deck suspended in a black void three feet off the stage floor that tips and sways in an abyss. It made physical and visible Lecoq's "Balance of the Stage."

Last year, Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles made history as the composer for WAITRESS, the first musical ever to hit Broadway while boasting an all-female creative team. Now, as reported by BWW last month, Bareilles will once again take the spotlight, stepping into the lead role of Jenna Hunterson on Friday, March 31, succeeding Tony winner Jessie Mueller.

Following multiple Olivier Award nominations, John Tiffany's The Glass Menagerie enters its final weeks at Duke of York's Theatre with the last performance to be held on Saturday 29th April 2017. This universally acclaimed adaptation of Tennessee Williams' masterful play has been nominated for seven Olivier Awards including Best Director, Best Revival and Best Actress.
