The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) announces that Dan Butler has joined the cast of adaptor Rob Roth's new play WARHOLCAPOTE in the role of Truman Capote. He will appear with Stephen Spinella (Tony Award winner for Angels in America) who portrays artist Andy Warhol.

Olivier Award and KAIROS Prize-winning choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui has joined the creative team of the musical adaptation of Alanis Morrisette's album Jagged Little Pill. American Repertory Theater artistic director Diane Paulus will helm the production, which will feature a book by Diablo Cody (Academy Award winner for her screenplay of Juno) and songs from Morrisette's Grammy-winning album, co-written by Glen Ballard.

The Artistic Home will open its 2017-18 season with a lesser known, but wholly timely piece: WEDDING BAND: A LOVE/HATE STORY IN BLACK AND WHITE, by eminent African-American playwright and author Alice Childress. It will open to the press Sunday, October 29 at 7:00 pm, following previews from October 25 - 28.
