Nashville Ballet presents EMERGENCE 6/1-3

Nashville Ballet will close its 2016-2017 performance season with its popular experimental ballet series Emergence June 1-3, 2017, at Nashville Ballet's Studio A. This season's edition will feature the debut of three all-new Nashville Ballet collaborations only weeks in the making and the opportunity to interact with the artists to learn about the creative process.

American Repertory Ballet Announces 2017-2018 Performances of THE NUTCRACKER

Princeton Ballet School presents SLEEPING BEAUTY as Annual Spring Production 2017

Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet, will present the full-length classical ballet The Sleeping Beauty on May 20, 2017 at the Patriots Theater at the War Memorial in Trenton, NJ. Performances will be at 2:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 and are on sale now at www.arballet.org.

American Repertory Ballet to Host Physical Therapy Panel Discussion

On Friday, May 5, 2017 at 5:15 pm, American Repertory Ballet will host a panel discussion, 'Physical Therapy: Taking Care of the Young Dancer's Body,' as part of its On Pointe enrichment series. This event will be held at ARB's Princeton studios, located in the Princeton Shopping Center (301 North Harrison Street, above McCaffrey's). This event is free and open to the public.

BWW Review: Douglas Martins PRIDE AND PREJUDICE by ARB is Stunning

The stunning World Premiere of Douglas Martin's Pride and Prejudice by the American Repertory Ballet (ARB) was performed at Princeton's McCarter Theater on Friday, April 21st and Saturday, April 22nd. Martin, the company's Artistic Director, has created a fabulous production that brings Jane Austen's beloved 1813 classic novel to the stage.

American Repertory Ballet Announces PREVIEW OF THE PREMIERE

On Friday, March 24 at 5:15 p.m., American Repertory Ballet will host "Preview of the Premiere," as part of its On Pointe series. This event will give audiences an in-studio preview of Artistic Director Douglas Martin's latest work - the full-length story ballet Pride and Prejudice. The dancers will perform excerpts of the choreography, and Martin will speak about his work.

Announcing Princeton Ballet School's 2017 Summer Intensive Guest Faculty

Princeton Ballet School, the official school of American Repertory Ballet, announces its guest faculty for its highly celebrated Summer Intensive program held in Princeton, N.J., from June 26-July 28, 2017. First held in 1981, Princeton Ballet School's Summer Intensive is one of the oldest in the United States. The final U.S. audition for the program before the audition tour goes oversees to Europe will be this Sunday, March 12 in New York City.

Smuin to Present Trey McIntyre Premiere THE CHICKEN SEES and More for 23rd Season

Smuin concludes its 23rd season with Dance Series 02, featuring a world premiere by internationally acclaimed choreographer Trey McIntyre entitled The Chicken Sees. McIntyre returns to Smuin to pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the "Summer of Love" in an energetic exploration of dance and the creative process.
