THE FEMME SHOW Announces New Date and Location, Starts 6/5

In the Streets Productions is proud to present The Femme Show at Re/Dress on Saturday, June 5. With dance, burlesque, drag, spoken word, performance art and more from award winning artists, The Femme Show is the country's only touring show exploring all aspects of femme identity. This is queer art for queer people, with a variety of diverse perspectives on femme identity that can be thoughtful, sad, funny, sexy, and fun.

Alternative Theatre Company Presents A NIGHT IN VEGAS, 6/5

After postponing their production of Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas, which was originally slated to play at The Actors' Playhouse, the Alternative Theatre Company (Joe Marshall, Founder/Artistic Director; Adrian Maynard, Managing Director) announces that as of Thursday, May 27 Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas has found a new home at The Bleecker Street Theatre (45 Bleecker Street). Directed by Joe Marshall, opening bight will be Saturday, June 5. Premium seats are $50 and general admission tickets are $35 and can be purchased by visiting Telecharge.com. (Please Note: A Night In Vegas has a special preview performance schedule listed below and beginning June 10 will play Thursday - Saturday at 10:30PM).

The Midtown International Theater Festival Presents MOST LIKELY TO 7/18-28

White Rabbit Theatre Presents DANNY, Begins 6/3

The good old days weren't always good, but when they were, they were magic, as seen in Danny, a comedy with drama buried six feet under. Written and directed by Andrew Rothkin, this tale about the need to put the past into perspective will be formally unearthed by White Rabbit Theatre starting June 3rd as part of the 2nd Annual Planet Connections Theater Festivity, and be performed at the Green Room Theatre, part of the Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street.

GREEN GOLLY & HER GOLDEN FLUTE Offer Free Shows at Chelsea Market

The duo of Flute Sweet & Tickletoon (Barbara Siesel and Keith Torgan) will perform Green Golly & Her Golden Flute, for ages 4 - 10, on four Sundays in May: May 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the T Salon in Chelsea Market, 459 W. 15th St., NYC. Green Golly & Her Golden Flute introduces children to the magic of classical music via a humorous and lighthearted embellishment of the traditional tale of Rapunzel. These shows also celebrate the May 11 release of the newly remastered version of Flute Sweet & Tickletoon's Green Golly & Her Golden Flute CD.

Roundabout's THE GLASS MENAGERIE Closes 5/30

Furious Theater Co Presents BOOM, Opens 5/22

Furious Theatre Company remains in residence in the Carrie Hamilton Theatre for the Los Angeles premiere of boom by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, writer of Furious Theatre's much acclaimed, award-winning 2009 production of Hunter Gatherers. boom will preview on Wednesday, May 19; Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21 at 8 p.m. with an opening date of Saturday, May 22 at 8 p.m. and run through Sunday, June 20 at the home of Furious Theatre Company, the Pasadena Playhouse Carrie Hamilton Theatre, 39 S. Vital Theatre Company Extends ISABELLE through June 27

Vital Theatre Company has extended the production 'ISABELLE AND THE PRETTY-UGLY SPELL,' with music and lyrics by Steven Fisher, book by Joan Ross Sorkin and Steven Fisher and directed by Vic DiMonda, through June 27th at 45 Bleecker Street. Performances continue every Sunday at 1pm through June 27th. Tickets are $25. The show is appropriate for ages 3-12.
