Furious Theater Co Presents BOOM, Previews 5/19

Furious Theatre Company remains in residence in the Carrie Hamilton Theatre for the Los Angeles premiere of boom by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, writer of Furious Theatre's much acclaimed, award-winning 2009 production of Hunter Gatherers. boom will preview on Wednesday, May 19; Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21 at 8 p.m. with an opening date of Saturday, May 22 at 8 p.m. and run through Sunday, June 20 at the home of Furious Theatre Company, the Pasadena Playhouse Carrie Hamilton Theatre, 39 S. El Molino Ave. in Pasadena.

GREEN GOLLY & HER GOLDEN FLUTE Offer Free Shows at Chelsea Market

The duo of Flute Sweet & Tickletoon (Barbara Siesel and Keith Torgan) will perform Green Golly & Her Golden Flute, for ages 4 - 10, on four Sundays in May: May 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the T Salon in Chelsea Market, 459 W. 15th St., NYC. Green Golly & Her Golden Flute introduces children to the magic of classical music via a humorous and lighthearted embellishment of the traditional tale of Rapunzel. These shows also celebrate the May 11 release of the newly remastered version of Flute Sweet & Tickletoon's Green Golly & Her Golden Flute CD.

Alternative Theatre Co's A NIGHT IN VEGAS Plays Bleecker Street Theatre 5/27

After postponing their production of Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas, which was originally slated to play at The Actors' Playhouse, the Alternative Theatre Company (Joe Marshall, Founder/Artistic Director; Adrian Maynard, Managing Director) is happy to announce that as of Thursday, May 27 Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas has found a new home at The Bleecker Street Theatre (45 Bleecker Street).

Casting has been announced for the Philadelphia engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Philadelphia's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Academy of Music stage from Tuesday, March 23 to Saturday, April 24.

PURE Theatre's LOWCOUNTRY BOIL by R.W. Smith Closes 3/27

PURE Theatre is proud to announce the world premiere of Lowcountry Boil written and directed by Charleston's own R.W. Smith, and will feature Jennie Pringle, R.W. Smith, David Mandel, Kevin Curler, Robbie Thomas, Will Hodges, Katie Huard, Brian DeCosta, and Randy Risher. Lowcountry Boil opens Friday, March 5 and runs through the 27th.

Alternative Theatre Company and The Actors' Playhouse present Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas directed by Joe Marshall. Performances begin on Friday, March 26; opening Sunday, April 11 it will run through June 20 at the newly renovated Actors' Playhouse.
