Just as with the BWW:UK awards, Legally Blonde and Love Never Dies led the way at the Whatsonstage awards this weekend.

Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) is the successful bidder of a new five year management contract for Churchill Theatre Bromley, beginning in April 2011. Having successfully operated Churchill Theatre Bromley since 2000, ATG will continue to help Churchill Theatre Bromley grow both as a theatre, and as a major business in Bromley and the South East.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle has announced its nominations and special awards for excellence in Los Angeles and Orange County theatre for the year 2010 (Dec. 1, 2009 - Nov. 30, 2010).

McFadden, an original member of the Legally Blonde cast who as well as playing the role Serena - one of Elle's sorority sisters - has also been wowing audiences as the show's alternate Elle since October. She joins Denise Van Outen, Alex Gaumond, Siobhan Dillon, Aoife Mulholland, Carley Stenson, Simon Thomas and Peter Davison in Legally Blonde The Musical which is currently booking until 22 October 2011 at the Savoy Theatre where it has been playing to packed houses since it opened in December 2009.

Following the tragic loss of much-loved Scottish actor Gerard Kelly, it has been confirmed that Andy Gray, a close friend of Gerard, will play the role of the narrator in Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show at the Kings Theatre in Glasgow from 8 November 2010.

Philip Seymour Hoffman returns to Sydney Theatre Company to direct Wayne Blair and Brendan Cowell as two warring brothers going head-to-head in a showdown of wild west proportions. Sam Shepard's iconic True West is at Wharf 1 from 27 October, opening on 2 November at 8.00pm.

This laugh out loud drama explores the potential of regression therapy on a mundane patient in the hands of a celebrity seeking hypnotherapist.

According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for UK Daily Mail, Ugly Betty star America Ferrera, is in talks to star in Neil LaBute's West End production of reasons to be pretty. Ferrera joins the previously announced Julia Stiles for the show, which is set to open in the spring at Ambassador Theatre Group.
