1,500 musical theatre students and educators will join Megan Hilty ("Smash!", Wicked); Jeff Calhoun (Newsies, Bonnie & Clyde on Broadway); Sacramento's own Jenifer Foote (Broadway's Gypsy of the Year, Hello Dolly! on Broadway); Curt Hansen (Kinky Boots national tour, Hairsprayon Broadway); Elyssa Samsel & Kate Anderson ('Olaf's Frozen Adventure;' Between the Lines, Kansas City Rep); Coy Middlebrook (director of ABC's Musical Special ENCORE), New York Times Bestselling Author Jodi Picoult (Between the Lines, "Off the Page"), and YouTube sensation Tyler Mount for the 2018 Junior Theater Festival West (#JTF18, #JTFWEST), happening February 9-11, 2018 at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium and the Sacramento Convention Center Complex in Sacramento, CA. 

Megan Hilty ('Smash!', Wicked); Paul Williams ('The Muppet Movie,' 'Evergreen,' Bugsy Malone, Emmet Otter's Jug-band Christmas); and Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Wicked) are three stars confirmed for the 2018 Junior Theater Festival Atlanta (#JTF18, #JTFATL), happening January 12-14, 2018 at The Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, GA.

A New York City Twisted Holiday Tradition celebrates its Tenth Splendiferous Year! Joe Iconis and his merry band of musical theater punks brought their insane celebration of all things red and green back to Feinstein's/54 Below. Alicia Krakauer and Molly Model complete the cast of The 4th Ugly Christmas Sweater Soiree December 5th at 8pm at The Green Room 42. The sweaters are ugly, the voices are stunning, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Covenant House of New York City.

Zachary Francis Stewart who was born a grinch with a heart 2 sizes too small, is happy to once again return to the Ugly Sweater Christmas Soiree  where each year his icy heart melts ever closer to fully embracing the magic of the holidays. Will this be the year he turns into a jolly Kris Kringle? Well, you'll have to come find out for yourself. THE BAD YEARS (Chase), LEGENDALE (Fanboy), ISLAND SONG (Cooper), TWIGGY FARTDUST (Jane Fonda).

Stephen Sondheim was in the audience at Barrington Stage Company's production of COMPANY the night before, but last night it was all about Joe Iconis and family appearing on the dark Mainstage for a one night concert as COMPANY rested for the evening.  Mr. Sondheim was  highly enthusiastic for the Julianne Boyd directed COMPANY and spent time with Aaron Tveit and the cast after the show.  It was an historic evening for the BSC community as Stephen Sondheim was generous with his praise for all involved with the production, which is the talk of the Berkshires this season.
