59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to present the world premiere of EDUCATION, written by Brian Dykstra and directed Margarett Perry. Produced by Sanguine Theatre Company, EDUCATION begins performances on Friday, March 9 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 8. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Friday at 7:15 PM; Saturday at 2:15 PM & 7:15 PM; Sunday at 2:15 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Chasing Jack is the new riveting drama from author John S. Anastasi, previously represented Off-Broadway with Would You Still Love Me If starring Kathleen Turner. Audience members can sit in the General Courtroom Gallery for $20 or be closer in the Jury Box for $25 and be part of the action!

The Lord Of The Underworld's Home For Unwed Mothers is a modern re-telling of the Demeter and Persephone myth set in the 1960s and 1990s, exploring the politics of motherhood. When Dee meets the daughter she was forced to give up 25 years ago, the reunion is less than ideal. To show her Death Metal enthusiast daughter, Corie, that she wasn't given up out of selfishness, Dee must return to her teenage memories of Catholic, middle-class life in the 1960s to explain how the choice was never hers to make. But the despondent Corie, whose turbulent childhood consisted of being shipped from one foster home to the next, has a secret of her own. A tale of love, loss, and some heavy metal, running for two nights only, this weekend, May 16 and 17 at 4pm.
