Feinstein's at the Nikko announced today the lineup for their "City Singers" series for the months of March and April. The lineup includes jazz singer Opie Bellas, San Francisco's favorite crooner, Russ Lorenson and French chanteuse Betty Roi. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.

Garth Fagan, Tony Award winner for "Best Choreography" in The Lion King, founder and artistic director of Garth Fagan Dance, is receiving the Apple Award from Wayne State University's Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance. "A Conversation with Apple Award Recipient Garth Fagan" will be hosted at the Berman Center for the Performing Arts on March 28 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Fagan will appear in an "actors studio" style interview and question-and-answer session.

A pack of wolves in a jungle located in India raise a little boy with his pals: a bear and a black panther. The boy's adventures include fighting a tiger, being abducted by monkeys, and returning to the human village. This wonderful tale is based on “The Jungle Book,” a collection of stories by English author Rudyard Kipling, and provides the basis for “Mowgli,” a full-length ballet performed by the Roxey Ballet.

New York City Center will present A Bailar: Dance at the Center, a three-week Latin dance festival featuring three acclaimed dance companies from Cuba, Argentina and Spain, running today, February 18 - March 7, 2015. The Festival kicks off with the U.S. debut of Havana Rakatan, a celebration of Cuban dance and music, and continues with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui'sm¡longa, which captures the sultry world of Buenos Aires tango.
