New Dance Cinema is back on February 20th showcasing national and international, directors and choreographers that are leading the way in cinematic dance.

With a focus on short films that merge new technologies, movement, and storytelling, NDC invokes surreal cinema that only the body can tell.

Presenting three screens, live music and performances, the event is a festive evening that brings the kinetic energy off the screen and into the room. Representing the US, South Korea, Spain, Brazil and the Netherlands, NDC attracts new voices from around the globe.

Featured directors include Eva Baro, Harm Weistra, Sojung Bahng, Vinicius Cardoso, Will Anderson, Anji Crain and Paul Sarvis.

The bi-annual event supports new initiatives to combine movement, media, arts, and entertainment. By combining film festival with after party, NDC presents current innovative films in a lively, immersive environment. The series brings to the public the enticing fusion of commercial, contemporary, and fine arts.

Previous directors and performers include Celia Rowlson-Hall, YAK Films, Tiler Peck of New York City Ballet and Mathew Rushing of Alvin Ailey Dance Theater.
