Today we are celebrating a particularly epic and emotionally stirring Best Musical Tony Award winner just announced to be returning to the Great White Way later this year in a stripped-down, back-to-basics production - TITANIC!

Abingdon Theatre Company presents a staged reading of a dynamic and evocative new adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic GREAT EXPECTATIONS, adapted for the stage and directed by Donald Brenner, on Monday, December 9 at 7pm at the June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street) in Manhattan.

FAR FROM HEAVEN's Kelli O'Hara, Isaiah Johnson and Nancy Anderson will perform at Barnes & Noble with special guests Scott Frankel and Michael Korie in celebration of the release of the musical's Original Cast Recording. They will also be signing CDs. It all takes place tonight, November 13 at 7 p.m. on the event stage at the Barnes & Noble, Upper East Side, 86th and Lexington.

Today we are talking to a top-tier Tony Award-winning talent known for an incredibly accomplished resume ranging from noted performances in original musicals to reinvented revival roles and beyond - the dignified and dynamic Victoria Clark. Most importantly, Clark sheds some light on her compelling character in the new drama THE SNOW GEESE and relates candid stories of sharing the stage with co-stars and fellow vets Danny Burstein and Mary-Louise Parker, among others. Playwrights Horizons previously announced that the critically-acclaimed score for their World Premiere production of the new musical FAR FROM HEAVEN had been preserved as an Original Cast Recording and will be released by PS Classics, the label dedicated to the heritage of Broadway and American popular song, today, November 12.

Manhattan Concert Productions has just announced the full cast for the second installment of its Broadway Series, with a concert performance of, Titanic The Musical. This concert performance will feature almost all of the cast members from the original Tony Award winning Broadway production.

When it comes to American Theatre from the 1930s, one of the leading writing duos was George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. This pair is integral in the development of Modern American Theatre. They are often studied in survey courses that chart the progression of the art form, as most agree that together they wrote some of America's favorite comedies. Their hilarious and heartwarming 1936 play YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU premiered at the Booth Theater on December 14, 1936 and ran for 837 performances. It also won the 1937 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. When it was adapted for film by Frank Capra and Robert Riskin in 1938, it won Oscars for Best Picture and Best Director. Now, in 2013, The Alley Theatre is reviving the classic and hysterical masterpiece about an eccentric family that is happily surviving the Great Depression. It's 1936, and their key to bliss is embrace the love they have for one another, their hobbies, and to find ways to simply enjoy the life they've got.

Today in 1997, Titanic opened at the Lunt-Fonatnne Theatre, where it ran for 804 performances. Titanic is a musical with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and a book by Peter Stone that won five Tony Awards including the award for Best Musical. Titanic is set on the ocean liner RMS Titanic which sank on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912. Directed by Richard Jones with choreography by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, the cast included John Cunningham, David Garrison, Larry Keith, Alma Cuervo, Michael Cerveris, Victoria Clark, and Brian d'Arcy James.
