The holiday season is not complete without the perfect music to accompany it. 'Broadway's Carols for a Cure' is the latest compilation album that embodies the spirit of the season like nothing else can. A project born completely out of love, 'Broadway's Carols for a Cure' pairs the casts from famous Broadway musicals with songs that are both classic and new. The result is pure gold that will make you reach for the 'repeat' button over and over again.

The Ogunquit Playhouse has announced the launch of a new works program to incubate and develop new musicals for the stage. The program is helmed by Matt Schicker and will kick off on Monday, December 5 at 3:30PM at Pearl Studios in New York, NY, with an invite-only Actors' Equity Association stage reading of Frida, a musical with book and lyrics by Michael Aman and music by Dana P. Rowe.

Primary Stages hosted its 2016 Gala celebrating the Horton Foote Centennial last night, October 17, 2016 at 6:30 pm at 583 Park Avenue. The even twas chaired by CharLes Davis, HAllie Foote, David Richenthal and Michael Wilson, and featured performances and tributes by Elizabeth Ashley, Harriet Harris, Jayne Houdyshell, Estelle Parsons (pictured, left) and Molly Ringwald. Honorary co-chairs for the event include Matthew Broderick, Robert and Luciana Duvall, James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson. Scroll down for photos from the festivities!

The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) presented the eighth annual Broadway Salutes event yesterday, September 20, 2016 in Shubert Alley (between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets). Below, check out red carpet photos from the event!

Effective immediately, ON YOUR FEET! will now play Sunday evenings at 7pm (with the matinee moving from 3pm to 2pm), in lieu of their Wednesday night performances at 8pm. The complete performance schedule is Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 2pm, Thursday at 7pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm & 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm & 7pm.

This is Velasco's eleventh show taking care of Broadway's smallest stars.

Today in 1997, Titanic opened at the Lunt-Fonatnne Theatre, where it ran for 804 performances. Titanic is a musical with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and a book by Peter Stone that won five Tony Awards including the award for Best Musical. Titanic is set on the ocean liner RMS Titanic which sank on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912. Directed by Richard Jones with choreography by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, the cast included John Cunningham, David Garrison, Larry Keith, Alma Cuervo, Michael Cerveris, Victoria Clark, and Brian d'Arcy James.

Gloria Estefan has sold over 100 million records and sold out stadiums around the world, they're about to sell some more. BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that the cast on ON YOUR FEET! will record a live album today. Launching tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15, the lottery will open at 9:00AM each day for entries to win a limited number of $40 same-day tickets to that evening's performance at www.onyourfeetmusical.com/tickets, and will remain open until 2:00PM when winners are drawn. Winners, notified by email immediately upon the 2:00PM drawing, will have 60 minutes to claim their tickets by paying with credit card, and can pick up the tickets at the Marquis Theatre Box Office (46th Street between Broadway & 8th Avenue) 30 minutes prior to showtime. Photo ID is required for pickup, seat locations and number of tickets awarded by the lottery are subject to availability.

A huge congrats to BC/EFA, which just announced GYPSY OF THE YEAR's outstanding grand total of $4,786,239 after six weeks of fundraising efforts! Broadway's BOOK OF MORMON brought in the top funds, and KINKY BOOTS took 'Best Presentation' at the event.
