On March 27, Tony Award Nominee Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall, Mothers and Sons) will direct an industry reading of GALACTIC CIGARETTES PRESENTS: IT'S YOUR WORLD! at Pearl Studios on 8th Avenue, New York. (www.ItsYourWorldMusical.com)

Galactic Cigarettes Presents: It's Your World is a new musical set in New York City in the 1950's. The title refers to a television quiz show that has captured the imagination of the public by providing everyday, regular folks with the possibility of winning the unprecedented top prize of $100,000! Sponsored by America's favorite cigarette company, the quiz show's newest contestants include Bryan Stanley, young married schoolteacher, who recently returned from fighting in Korea played by Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!) and Jenny Wilson, a rather shy gal from a Manhattan typing pool, played by Erin Davie (Side Show, 2007 Theater World Award for Grey Gardens).

The musical chronicles their initial enchantment with the show and the fame bestowed upon them until... they find out all is not as it seems to be. While comically satirizing America in the 50's with lavish production numbers and commercial jingles, Galactic Cigarettes Presents: It's Your World also poses a Faustian moral dilemma: How far will decent, hardworking, honest people go to win a piece of the American Dream?

Rounding out the cast are Liz Larsen (1992 Tony Nominee for The Most Happy Fella), John Hillner (La Cage Aux Folles and Company), Jessica Boevers (A Funny Thing Happened..., In My Life), Alma Cuervo, Joy Franz and Allen Read. The tight-harmony-jingle-singing-ensemble features Erica Aubrey, Willy Falk, Amanda Flynn, Victoria Huston-Elem, David Bryan Johnson, Kilty Reidy, Cullen Titmas & Alena Watters.

The book and lyrics were written by Paul Eiseman and the music was composed by Adam B. Levowitz. Musical direction is by Fred Lassen, casting by Cindi Rush Casting. The General Manager is Ryan Conway for DTE Management.
