A woman murdered. Her husband, an artist, is the only suspect. In this tightly woven cat and mouse game, the line between reality and fiction becomes increasingly blurred. The Painter chronicles the struggles of three people to make sense in the aftermath of a bizarre and chillingly tragic event. Set in a modern day American police interrogation room, these three face off in an arena that amplifies both the urgent need to unearth truth and at times the need to bury it deep. Against this backdrop we explore the tenuous link, a sheerest of threads, that connects the world as it is to the world as it is perceived.

Partial Comfort Productions presents the World Premiere of The Main(e) Play by Chad Beckim. Directed by Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara, the production stars Michael Gladis (best known as Paul Kinsey on AMC's critically acclaimed series 'Mad Men'). Previews begin January 16 at The Lion Theater where Partial Comfort is a resident company. Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23
