The cast will feature Kim Carlson*, Angus Hepburn*, Frank Mihelich*, Tyler Merna (Z Rock on IFC), Allyson Morgan* (The Summer People w/ Brian Dennehy at Playwrights Horizons), Kimberly Prentice*, and Davi Santos.Afterlight, which is inspired by the imagery of surrealist photography, is the mysterious story of a quiet Northeastern town where a school bus accident incites a series of events that the residents cannot understand or explain. A wolf has been spotted lurking on The Edge of the woods where teenaged lovebirds Pru and Hunter meet every night; Louise finds her recently retired husband digging up the floorboards; and seven-year-old Shane keeps seeing albino monarch butterflies. The production features direction by Misti B. Wills** (Search for Euphoria at New World Stages), with scenic and lighting design by Bobby Bradley. Kim Fuhr is the sound designer. For Threads Theater Company, Frank Mihelich is the company manager, Kim Prentice is the managing director, and Erin Layton is the marketing coordinator.Afterlight will run at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) from August 14th to August 25th.
