The meatpacking district is hotter than ever thanks to SEX IN THE CITY, filled with the hottest clubs and restaurants and it gets even hipper on July 9th, when clothing store Theory will present a 45-minute preview performance of the Public Theater's upcoming revival of Hair (the show opens July 22nd).

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Mara Manus) announced additional casting today for the 2008 Shakespeare in the Park summer season. Andre Braugher and Lily Rabe will join the company as Claudius and Ophelia, respectively, in Oskar Eustis' production of HAMLET. They join the previously announced Michael Stuhlbarg as Hamlet and Richard Easton as Polonius. HAMLET will begin previews on Tuesday, May 27 and run through Sunday, June 29.
TheaterLoop will present the World Premiere of Williamsburg! The Musical as part of the 11th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC from August 11th through 24th at the Village Theater.
