Philadelphia Theatre Company continues its 40th Anniversary season with the hit of the Humana Festival brownsville song (b-side for tray) by Kimber Lee tonight, May 1-31.

Cleveland Play House's 99th season will draw to a close with an equal dose of hilarity and heart with the world premiere production of Fairfield.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of an exciting new American play, Rich Girl, by acclaimed playwright Victoria Stewart, continuing the Globe's 80th Anniversary festivities as part of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration. Rich Girl will be directed by James Vasquez (Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show), and will play May 23 - June 21, 2015, in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The 22nd Annual Merritt Awards for Excellence in Design and Collaboration will take place on Monday, May 4th, at Loyola University Chicago.

Palm Beach Dramaworks concludes its fifteenth anniversary season with Lanie Robertson's Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill, a moving and surprisingly joyous look back at the too-short, turbulent life of the legendary Billie Holiday. Lady Day opens at  the Don & Ann Brown Theatre on May 15 and continues through June 7, with specially priced previews on May 13 and 14.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre continues its 50th anniversary season with Sticky Traps, a powerful new play by KC Rep's Playwright in Residence, Nathan Louis Jackson, Directed by Resident Director, Kyle Hatley. Sticky Traps focuses on a small town not far from Kansas City, where a mother protects her gay son's honor when his funeral is protested by a local church. Her actions have unintended consequences that will test her whole family - and the power of their love -- in the face of hate. The production begins tonight, April 24th and runs through Sunday, May 24th at Copaken Stage in downtown Kansas City.

Manhattan Theatre Club's presentation of Steppenwolf Theatre Company's production of Airline Highway, the new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Lisa D'Amour (Detroit), directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello (Casa Valentina, Take Me Out), opens tonight, April 23 at MTC's Samuel J. Katherine Owens, Artistic Director of Undermain Theatre has released the season line-up for 2015-16 saying,  "We are now in our in 32nd year of exploring new writing and revisiting seminal modern works at the Undermain Theatre. James, Joseph Keckler, Chris Sarandon, and Or Matias, on piano, begin rehearsals today for the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater production of PRELUDES, a new musical by Dave Malloy, inspired by the music of Sergei Rachmaninov, developed with and directed by Rachel Chavkin.

Four time Grammy Award winner Renee Fleming makes her Broadway debut alongside Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills, two-time Emmy Award nominee Anna Chlumsky, Jerry O'Connell, Blake Hammond and Scott Robertson in Living on Love by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin, and directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, announces the casting of the world premiere of Crossing, an opera by Matthew Aucoin, directed by Diane Paulus, featuring the chamber orchestra A Far Cry, produced in association with Music-Theatre Group.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Jordan Dean, Lance Coadie Williams, and Zoe Winters will join Patti LuPone, Dale Soules, and Michael Urie in its upcoming production of SHOWS FOR DAYS, a new play by Douglas Carter Beane, to be directed by Jerry Zaks. The production will begin performances Saturday evening, June 6 and open on Monday, June 29 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

In this one-woman show, Grody strives to be the predictable anchor among rambunctious sons, big personalities, and clashes between who you thought you would grow up to be and who you have become. This brilliant and explosively emotional new one-woman show is as brutally funny as it is brutally honest about what it means to be alive and present in the chaos of today's domestic possibilities. Written by Grody and directed by Timothy Near, Falling Apart…Together will be performed April 19, 20, 26 and 27 only.

The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 48th and 49th Rolling World Premieres: Chad Beckim's Lights Rise on Grace and Lauren Yee's in a word, as well as openings for its 43rd, 44th, and 47th plays, Uncanny Valley by Thomas Gibbons, Colossal by Andrew Hinderaker, and River City by Diana Grisanti.

?Dallas Theater Center announced today complete details for the rolling world premiere of Colossal, a new play by Andrew Hinderaker. DTC artistic director Kevin Moriarty directs the Kennedy Center Jean Kennedy Smith Playwriting Award-winning play, which is choreographed by founder and artistic director of Dark Circles Contemporary Dance Joshua L. Peugh. Colossal begins with previews tonight, April 2 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Sunday, May 3.
