Rehearsals started in Atlanta today for BORN FOR THIS: THE BEBE WINANS STORY, the hilarious and heartwarming true story of six-time Grammy Award-winning icon BeBe Winans's journey to fame. BORN FOR THIS, directed by celebrated director and playwright Charles Randolph-Wright (Motown The Musical), will premiere on the Alliance Stage, April 13 - May 15, 2016.

The new Broadway musical based on Natalie Babbitt's best-selling and award-winning novel begins previews March 31st for an April 26th opening.

Atlanta's nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre is pleased to present THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE, based on the beloved novel by C.S. Lewis, as part of its Alliance Family Series. Rosemary Newcott, the Sally G. Tomlinson Artistic Director of Theatre for Youth and Families, directs this magical, one-act, family friendly production. Rehearsals are underway for Alliance Theatre's production of ETHEL, written by and starring accomplished Atlanta performer Terry Burrell. ETHEL is a glimpse into the magnificent and very complicated life of the legendary stage and film star Ethel Waters. ETHEL will close the Alliance's Hertz Stage season at the Alliance Theatre, running March 25 through April 17, 2016. Opening night is Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
