On May 15th, TheStage Repertory Company, in conjunction with The Palace Theatre in Danbury, will present a 'one night only' performance of Ken Davenport's My First Time. The comedy marks the first production mounted by TheStage Repertory Company, a new Danbury-based theatre company.

On Thursday, May 21, TheatreWorks New Milford will present a free staged reading of the classic film, ALL ABOUT EVE, at 8:00 pm, at the Theatre, 5 Brookside Ave, in New Milford. The reading will be followed by a wine and cheese reception. ALL ABOUT EVE tells the story of Margo Channing, one of the biggest stars on Broadway.

TheatreWorks New Milford is seeking one white man, age 35-45, two white women, ages 25-65, and one African-American woman, age 35-45 for the Tony Award-winning drama, DOUBT, by John Patrick Shanley.

On May 3, 2009, The Brookfield Theatre for the Arts (TBTA) will host a dynamic creative workshop led by Broadway's Susan Blackwell. The workshop, appropriate for individuals of all ages, is inspired by the popular song ?Die, Vampire, Die' in the hit Broadway musical [title of show]. The song, also penned by Blackwell, defines a Vampire as 'any person, thought or feeling that stands between you and your creative self-expression.'
