Rock icon Alice Cooper and Grammy-winning hard rock band Halestorm have announced a co-headline amphitheater tour across North America this summer. Produced by Live Nation, the 19-city tour will kick off July 17 in Allentown, PA at the PPL Center and make stops in Detroit, Chicago, Houston, and more before wrapping August 16 in Camden, NJ at the BB&T Pavilion. Motionless In White will support on all dates.

New York based band The Cringe have announced the release of their sixth studio album, Everywhere You've Never Been, out April 19. Prior to the release, The Cringe will join Queensrÿche for three dates including Irving Plaza in New York City and join Tesla for dates in April. See below for full tour dates and tickets available here.

Live Nation Entertainment, the world's leading live entertainment company, announced today that it has acquired a majority stake in Tons of Rock, Norway's biggest rock and metal festival.

Today, Guitar World premieres the debut video from Memoirs of an Uprising, the self-produced new album from singer/songwriter/guitarist,  Damon Johnson. The clip for the single “Shivering Shivering” was directed by Chris Hopkins and shot on location in Nashville. They range from original Broadway cast recordings to revival cast recordings to live concert recordings--and they all feature impressive vocal work from some of the theatre world's biggest and brightest stars. For me, that was the Springfield (Missouri) Little Theatre, Beth D., and The Phantom of the Opera. I wish for all of today's youth to find the arts and an inspiring mentor. As for Webber for this generation, there is School of Rock The Musical, which actually touches on all of the above. The tour is visiting the National Theatre in Washington, DC this month and packs the biggest dreams and highest professionalism into the tiniest bodies.

The band DIE FAST have decided to celebrate the New Year with a surprise release of a new album WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD featuring nine tracks of filth-spewing, rapid-fire punk rock. Mixed by Andrew Murdock (Alice Cooper, Godsmack), WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD will be available digitally on Monday, January 14.
