According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reid Carolin, screenwriter for the upcoming film MAGIC MIKE, is currently working on a 'spin-off' of the movie which he plans to bring to Broadway as a new musical.

MAGIC MIKE is coming to theaters on June 29, 2012 from Warner Brothers Pictures. The drama is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello. Get a first look at the trailer below!

Neil Patrick Harris, co-star of 'How I Met Your Mother' was honored today by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce with his first star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony was held in celebration of the upcoming DVD release of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Season 6: The New Is Always Better Edition on September 27.

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' leads the TEEN CHOICE 2011 nominees with 12 nominations, and GLEE has nine nominations. In addition, 'The Vampire Diaries' has seven nominations, while 'The Hangover Part II,' Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez each earned six nominations.

Deadline.com is reporting that Neil Patrick Harris who hosted the Tony Awards two years ago will return as host for this year's broadcast. The 65th Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from the Beacon Theatre on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 12, 2011.

The 68th Golden Globe® Awards are airing LIVE coast-to-coast tonight, January 16, 2011 on NBC from 5:00-8:00 p.m. (PST) /8:00-11:00 p.m. (EST) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel with host Ricky Gervais. The New York Philharmonic will present Stephen Sondheim's groundbreaking Company, with an all-star cast led by Neil Patrick Harris, star of the hit television series, How I Met Your Mother, on April 7-9, 2011. The award-winning musical will be produced and directed by Lonny Price, who directed and co-produced last season's SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert!, and will be conducted by Sondheim specialist Paul Gemignani, with the original orchestrations for a 35-piece orchestra by Jonathan Tunick. More details will be announced at a later date.

CBS Films has announced that it will delay its new Beauty and the Beast remake, BEASTLY. The Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer film will now be released on March 18, 2011.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Glee star Diana Agron is set to play the romantic lead in the upcoming Dreamworks flick 'I Am Number Four.' The film is an adaptation of a James Fray and Jobie Hughes young-adult novel.

Beastly, the fantasy romance based on Alex Flinn's 2007 novel of the same name, starring Neil Patrick Harris, Mary-Kate Olsen, Vanessa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer and Lisa Gray Hamilton opens in theaters on July 30, 2010.
