MAGIC MIKE will be hitting the strip - literally.

On today's ELVIS & NIXON stars Johnny Knoxville, Alex Pettyfer and Colin Hanks discussed their roles in the comedy.

The first trailer has arrived for Amazon Studios and Bleecker Street Media's new historical comedy film ELVIS AND NIXON.

As BWW previously reported, a new MAGIC MIKE stage musical is currently in the works from Tom Kitt, Brian Yorkey and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Now, HAMILTON's Jon Rua has posted a photo on Instagram from a recent reading for the show, and it looks like his HAMILTON co-star Chris Jackson was also involved. No word on what this means for MAGIC MIKE's Broadway and/or Las Vegas plans, but BroadwayWorld will keep our ears to the ground. In the meantime, check out the behind-the-scenes photo below!

Variety writes that Amazon Studios is in final talks for the historical drama ELVIS & NIXON, starring HOUSE OF CARDS' Kevin Spacey and stage vet Michael Shannon.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS' Ashley Benson, 24's Tate Donovan, Poppy Delevingne and Dylan Penn have signed on for ELVIS & NIXON, directed by HATESHIP LOVESHIP's Liza Johnson.

Director Steven Soderbergh, who helmed the original hit film MAGIC MIKE, shared a photo of the clapperboard from the upcoming sequel on Twitter last Sunday, along with the exclamation: 'It's ON!'.
