This exhibition is curated by art historian Gabriela Garcia Azcuy. (Art)xiomas is part of AMA's celebration of the birth centennial of its founding director, Cuban-born Jose Gomez Sicre.

Harlem Stage to Present 17th Edition of E-MOVES, 4/7-9

Harlem Stage is pleased to present the seventeenth edition of their acclaimed dance series E-Moves. This year Harlem Stage has commissioned four evolving choreographers to create exciting new collaborative works with musicians and visual artists. This year's choreographers include Davalois Fearon, Desiree Godsell, Jason Samuels Smith and Laurie M. Taylor.To further support the development of the commissioned works, Harlem Stage has paired each of the artists with a mentor uniquely positioned to provide guidance and insight. This year's mentors are Ted Louis Levy, who is working with Samuels Smith; Nia Love, who is working with Fearon; Edisa Weeks, who is working with Taylor; and Marya Wethers, who is working with Godsell.

Actors Theatre of Louisville Announces Apprentice/Intern Company's Solo Mio #2

Actors Theatre of Louisville's Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein are pleased to announce the second in a three-part series of Solo Mios featuring solo work written and performed by members of the Acting Apprentice Company. Solo Mio #2, runs October 16 at 2 p.m. and October 17 at 10 a.m. in the Victor Jory Theatre. All performances are FREE and open to the public, but reservations are required. Each year, Actors Theatre of Louisville invites the most talented and highly motivated early-career theatre professionals in the nation to undertake a nine-month long training program that combines hands-on practical experience with educational seminars and professional guidance. Now in its 44th season, Actors Theatre's A/I Company is one of the oldest pre-professional training programs in the nation, and has built an incredible legacy of supporting the long-term vitality of American theatre through the mentorship and fostering of the best forthcoming talent in the field.

Two Broadway names are in the mix for the full cast of Cinemax's BLANCO drama pilot, starring Shiloh Fernandez. The Hollywood Reporter writes that A TIME TO KILL's Sebastian Arcelus and THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT's Elizabeth Rodriguez have signed on for the project.

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Closes Today at New World Stages

Peter and the Starcatcher sets sail today and will play its final performance at New World Stages today, Sunday, January 12, 2014, after almost two years, five Tony Awards, and 645 performances (both on Broadway and at New World Stages). Written by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Peter and the Starcatcher opened on Broadway on April 15, 2012 and ran until January 20, 2013, before beginning performances at New World Stages (340 West 50th St.) on Monday, March 18, 2013.

Steve Rosen Rejoins PETER AND THE STARCATCHER as 'Smee'

Third time's a charm! The producers of the audience and critics' favorite Peter and the Starcatcher announced today that Steve Rosen, who stepped in to play the role of Black Stache for certain performances during the show's Off-Broadway run at NYTW, again stepped into the show as Smee this past summer, will be joining once again as Smee tonight, November 11, to finish the run of the show with the rest of the cast. Peter and the Starcatcher will play its final performance at New World Stages on Sunday, January 12, 2014.

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Celebrates Movember in Support of Sean Kimberling Testicular Cancer Foundation

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher have announced a partnership with The Sean Kimberling Testicular Cancer Foundation, to celebrate Movember, the global charity that raises funds and awareness to combat prostate cancer and mental health challenges. Movember, which invites men to join the movement by growing a moustache for the 30-days of November, is a charity movement especially close to the heart of Peter and the Starcatcher's own mustachioed pirate, Black Stache, who rightly claims "the 'stache is on everyone's lips…."
