New York Musical Theater Festival will present the World Premiere of BONNIE & CLYDE: A FOLKTALE. With book and lyrics by Tony and Lucille Lortel Award nominee Hunter Foster (Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors) and music by Drama Desk Award nominee Rick Crom, the production is directed by Mark Waldrop. Performances begin September 16 at The American Theatre of Actors.
CSC's 'Tempest', Starring Patinkin, Begins Performances Tonight 9/3

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, will open its 2008-09 season with Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin starring in William Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST, to be directed by Kulick. Performances begin Wednesday, September 3. The official press opening is Thursday, September 18.

The A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program presents the hit musical Little Shop of Horrors in a one-night-only special concert presentation. Featuring book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, Little Shop of Horrors is directed by George Thompson and music directed by Robert Rutt.

Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel (Thoroughly Modern Millie) and 'American Idol' finalist Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray) will star in the new Broadway production of GODSPELL. The first Broadway revival of the landmark rock musical will officially open on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street) on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Previews will begin on Monday, September 29, 2008.

Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin Bring 'Evening' Across US

Patti LuPone and Many Patinkin, who co-starred together in 'Evita' will be taking their concert of duets, An Evening of Patti LuPone and Many Patinkin, to various locations across the country next spring. The duo have been performing the show since 2002, which features popular duets from theater classics such as South Pacific, Sunday In The Park With George and Evita.
