Hanover Little Theatre (HLT) will mix old favorites with new offerings in the four shows planned for its 66th season, set to kick off in September 2014 with an asked-for second matinee for all shows.

Writer, actor and activist Timothy Conigrave's best-selling memoir (winner of the United Nations Human Rights Award for Non-Fiction and listed as one of the '100 Favorite Australian Books' by the Australian Society of Authors) is one of Australia's great love stories. The stage version by Tommy Murphy captures all its special magic. Producers Nick Hardcastle and Nate Jones launch their newly formed Australian Theatre Company with the Los Angeles premiere of Holding the Man, featuring an all-Australian cast and directed by veteran Hollywood acting coach Larry Moss. Ben Stiller will star in 'I Am Chippendales.' Alan Ball ('True Blood,' 'Six Feet Under'), adapting the book by Rodney Sheldon, will produce and direct the film.

As Mildred's Umbrella continues to grow, we proudly bring you another season of Premieres, as well as our Museum of Dysfunction Play Festival as we always do... but this year we've added our WOMEN'S PROJECT, which will be four short-run productions, designed to give up-and-coming female artists a chance to create art with us while also raising awareness of local women's charities.

Martin, Sasha Allen, Keala Settle, and Nicole Parker. Phil Reno will serve as Musical Director. Additional performers will be announced at a later date. Miscast 2014 will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street). The evening will begin with a cocktail hour and gala dinner followed by the Miscast performances. CINEMAX has renewed the Emmy®-winning hit action series BANSHEE for a third season, scheduled to debut in 2015, it was announced today

BANSHEE returns for its ten-episode second season TONIGHT, JAN. 10 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), it was announced today by CINEMAX. The Emmy(R)-winning series is executive produced by Alan Ball, Peter Macdissi, Jonathan Tropper, David Schickler and Greg Yaitanes.

This week, Cinemax is posting “character Vines” to tease the second season premiere of the Emmy Award-winning show Banshee, marking the VERY FIRST time that a television program has used the characters themselves in a series of Vines

TVLine reports exclusively that Luke Grimes, who portrayed Jessica's lover 'James' in Season 6 of HBO's TRUE BLOOD will not be returning for the final season of the series.

According to TVLine's Tom Ausiello, TRUE BLOOD will welcome a new character in its seventh and final season on HBO -- a new boyfriend for Lafayette (Nelson Ellis).
