Tonight, November 21, 2013, a new multimedia play 'Split/Screen' will premier with a three-day run at the Helen Mills Theater. Split/Screen will feature new music by jazz composer and pianist Ben Rosenblum (winner of the Downbeat and ASCAP awards for original jazz composition and arrangement). In addition, the play will feature live performances from Rosenblum and recording artists Dev Avidon and Alida Rohr.

Southern California fans of musical theater are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the musical RENT with a one-weekend-only production of the beloved Broadway smash hit presented by Beyond the Stage productions, with proceeds from the show benefiting the HIV/AIDS outreach and education organization The Stigma Project.

Beyond the Stage Productions has announced a special, three-night-only engagement of Rent, Jonathan Larson's legendary Broadway smash hit, which is now celebrating its 20th anniversary. Proceeds will benefit The Stigma Project, a Los Angeles HIV/AIDS outreach and education organization.

BROADWAY BACKWARDS, the once-a-year celebration of the LGBT community, brought down the house Monday while raising a record-setting $347,060 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center.
