Singer and songwriter Bobby Caldwell will appear at The Rrazz Room, Hotel Nikko, 222 Mason, SF June 11-14 for an 8 PM opening show and two shows a night on June 12-13. What The World Needs Now?The Music of Burt Bacharach will take place at Kaufmann Concert Hall, 1395 Lexington Avenue, New York, Monday, May 18. Jill introduced the Bacharach/David pop classics I?ll Never Fall In Love Again, Knowing When To Leave and Whoever You Are I Love You. O?Hara went on to win a Tony nomination, the Theater World Award and New Jersey Journal Award for Best Actress In A Musical, while the cast album earned a Grammy Award. The concert event will also feature performances by Dionne Warwick, Sarah Dash and Elvis Costello. Proceeds from the Spring Gala support the 92nd Street Y's myriad of programs. Following up on its sold-out January concert by Tony winner Christine Ebersole and its wildly popular first-time collaboration with City Arts and Lectures in December when Barbara Cook appeared in concert and in conversation with Steve Winn, Bay Area Cabaret continues its 5th season on Sunday, March 8 at 5pm with Nnenna Freelon and her jazz quartet at the Marines Memorial Club Crystal Ballroom (609 Sutter Street@ Mason).
