42nd Street, the iconic Broadway masterpiece and winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1980, is tap-dancing its way onto the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center's Little Theater stage in Charleston, WV from April 26th, 2019 through May 11th, 2019 courtesy of the talented performers and crew of the Charleston Light Opera Guild.

Razzmatazz, glitz, glamour, intrigue: 42ND STREET is filled with these classic themes, which is why it still thrills audiences decades after its premiere.

Mark Bramble, the American theatre director, author and producer died on February 20, 2019 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore following complications related to cardiovascular hypertension.  He was 68 years old.  His passing was reported by his long-time business manager and friend, Richard Koenigsberg.

Lyric Opera of Chicago announced today that audiences are now able to purchase single tickets to Lyric's premiere of the Broadway classic and new-to-Chicago production of 42nd Street.

Lythgoe Family Panto (LFP), in association with the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, announce additional casting for their newest production, the world premiere of THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, (300 East Green Street, Pasadena CA 91101) which will play a strictly limited engagement from December 15 through December 30. Broadway's Norm Lewis ('Once on this Island') stopped backstage recently after seeing '42nd Street' at the historic Bucks County Playhouse, where it recently broke the theater's Box Office record. 

Members of the New Hope Community, including New Hope Borough Mayor Larry Keller, joined with Bucks County Playhouse in celebrating the success of the current production of "42nd Street" - the largest production in the Playhouse's history - by ceremonially renaming Main Street in honor of the show.
