The Deer Valley Music Festival, summer home of Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, is celebrating ten years of music in the mountains with a festival lineup that highlights the diversity of the orchestra and its audience. The 2013 Festival features seventeen performances from June 29 to August 10 at venues in Park City, Utah, including ten performances at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheatre which was recently highlighted by CNN as one of eight 'amazing' outdoor concert venues. The first three Festival events will take place on June 29, July 5 and July 6.

'Neva,' Guillermo Calderon's politically charged play, will open tonight, June 12 as a DouglasPlus event at the Center Theatre Group/Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. 'Neva,' which is presented in collaboration with South Coast Repertory and La Jolla Playhouse, will be performed in the theatre's rehearsal room, Upstairs @ KDT, and will play for eight performances only through June 16, 2013.
NEVA, written and directed by Guillermo Calderon, in an English translation by Andrea Thome, will be co-produced by the South Coast Repertory and La Jolla Playhouse in A DouglasPlus Workshop Presentation in the Kirk Douglas Theatre rehearsal room, Upstairs @ KDT. Performances begin tonight, June 11 and continue through June 16, 2013.
The cast is set for 'A Parallelogram,' the riveting new play by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner Bruce Norris. Directed by Tony Award-winner Anna D. Shapiro, 'A Parallelogram' will be presented at the Taper, July 10 through August 18, 2013. The opening is scheduled for July 21. The cast includes Carlo Alban, Marylouise Burke, Marin Ireland and Tom Irwin.
