Bring It On premiered at the Alliance Theatre, Atlanta, Georgia in January 2011. The cast included Amanda LaVergne as Campbell, Adrienne Warren as Danielle, Nick Blaemire as Randall and 'award-winning competitive cheerleaders from across the country'. In November 2011, a national tour of the musical started at the Ahmanson Theatre, Los Angeles, through December 2011.

Center Theatre Group has announced the launch of a new Facebook app that gives friends a new way to connect by organizing trips to the theatre with Facebook friends and allowing each friend to purchase their own tickets. Currently in public beta testing, the app is available to anyone on Facebook.

Center Theatre Group (CTG) has been awarded a four-year, $1 million grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The grant will make possible a program focusing on collaboratively created contemporary work from ensembles, devisers and writers, supporting the creative arc from commissioning through development and production; the program will build on the work generated by a multi-year 2009 Mellon Foundation grant supporting the development of non-text based work.

The Pasadena Playhouse announced today that it will present Val Kilmer in CITIZEN TWAIN for a five-show limited engagement. Val Kilmer, famous for his portrayals of iconic characters such as Jim Morrison (The Doors), Doc Holliday (Tombstone) and Batman (Batman Forever), inhabits the spirit of yet another legendary figure: Mark Twain. Kilmer continues to develop CITIZEN TWAIN, a solo show about the man considered to be the world's greatest storyteller, with this five performance extension at The Playhouse, August 21 - 24, 2013. The production continues through Sunday, July 28 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.

'A Parallelogram,' the riveting new play by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner Bruce Norris, is directed by Tony Award-winner Anna D. Shapiro at Center Theatre Group's Mark Taper Forum. The closer it got came to my departure from the 'iron jungle' the more excited I became. I knew I was on my way into a 3wk makeover in Sonoma, CA. BLISS! I couldn't wait. A six hour flight from JFK to San Francisco was nothin'. Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge was stunning. The flight went by pretty fast actually. I had the pleasure of traveling with another cast member, Carrie Manolakos. Carrie and I did a reading of The First Wives Club some years ago and I was an immediate fan. I'm honored to have the privilege to work with her again.
