International Chanteuse Adrienne Haan, one of Europe's and America's most electrifying concert and cabaret stars, will make her Carnegie Hall debut at Weill Recital Hall on October 29, 2015 at 8:00pm with her production of Tehorah. The concert is in celebration of the 50th anniversary of German-Israeli diplomatic relations. Patrons of the event include the German and Israeli Ambassadors to the United Nations, and Rabbi Arthur Schneier.

While performing her triumphant musical tour of the United States, European Cabaret artist Adrienne Haan followed up her recent critically acclaimed engagements at The Actors Temple and The Cutting Room in New York by dazzling audiences with her performances at the prestigious Embassy Series in Washington DC and sold out show at the Neue Galerie's Cafe Sabarsky in New York City.

Cabaret had it's beginnings in Germany, so I guess it was "Bashert" (yiddish - meant to be) that the German and Romanian Ambassadors were among those that filled the Actors Temple last night to hear acclaimed European Cabaret Star Adrienne Haan perform. As Rabbi Jill Hausman pointed out in her opening remarks, "actors have always used their talents to raise money for the historic shul".

The Actors' Temple Theatre welcome lovers of Broadway, jazz, and all the joy of a bygone era to a special engagement of "BERLIN TO BROADWAY-TRANSATLANTIC" on Monday, March 23rd, 2015, 7:30 pm., at 339 W. 47th Street, New York City. Carol Ostrow Productions, the force behind the highly successful Actors' Temple presentation of the new Broadway-bound musical, "Song of Solomon," is the producer of this one-of-a-kind cabaret.

Although the legendary Duke Ellington passed away on May 24, 1974, nearly 40 years ago, his fame and stature continue to grow and blossom. Just this past year alone, After Midnight, a big band musical featuring all-Ellington music in a tribute to Harlem's famous Cotton Club, opened on Broadway and is one of the favorites for winning a TONY Award this year; an SRO audience cheered the hundreds of students who participated in Arranging Ellington, concert of Ellington's sacred music, at Carnegie Hall this past March 23; and the Duke Ellington Center Big Band is finalizing plans for concert tours of France and the US during the upcoming year.
