Today Wolverhampton Grand Theatre announced a brand new season, including the touring production of sell-out West End musical FUNNY GIRL.

Bill Kenwright presents the much loved musical LA CAGE AUX FOLLES with JOHN PARTRIDGE as 'Albin' and ADRIAN ZMED as 'Georges', opening at New Oxford Theatre on Thursday 5th January before embarking on its first ever nationwide tour.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts presents Baseball Swing with the All Star Baseball Jazz Band, co-commissioned and co-produced with the Baseball Music Project and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. At one time the longest-running Broadway musical in history, GREASE gave birth to two revivals and a beloved movie. Songs include "Summer Lovin'," "We Go Together," "Beauty School Dropout," and "Greased Lightnin'," among many others. Cabrillo audiences will go to the pajama party with Sandy and Rizzo; pile into the trunk and ride to the drive-in movie with Danny, Kenickie and the guys; and dance the "Hand Jive" in the High School Gym. To quote one of Steven Schwartz' most famous songs, it seems like Kritzerland monthy concerts are getting pretty darn 'Popular'. On Monday, February 4, an off night for Kritzerland - Bruce Kimmel wisely did not wish to compete with Super Bowl Sunday on the 3rd - Kritzerland Records presented a jubilant evening of Schwartz music, some tunes lesser known than others, with a stupendous cast including guest stars Karen Morrow and Adrian Zmed at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal. Other singers included: Kim Huber, Lisa Livesay, Dennis Kyle, Dan Callaway, Chelsea Emma Franko, Jenna Rosen and Sarah and Sami Staitman. Trouper Franko stepped in as a replacement soloist at the eleventh hour. This was perhaps one the most enjoyable Kritzerland evenings, not only because of Schwartz' delightful music, but every single performer gave 150% to the material. It rocked!
