VIDEO: RENT's Wilson Jermaine Heredia Guest Stars in MY GAY ROOMMATE Web Series

The web series 'My Gay Roommate' follows the relationship between two roommates -- one who is gay and one who is straight. In the most recent episode, Tony Award winner Wilson Jermaine Heredia reprises his role as 'Angel' from RENT with a fun cameo appearance in an imagination sequence. Check it out below!

Soho Teen to Release THE UNFINISHED LIFE OF ADDISON STONE by Adele Griffin, 8/12

Two-time National Book Award finalist Adele Griffin has never written anything like this. The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone tells the story of 17-year-old street artist Addison Stone, who burst onto the NYC scene only to die of apparent suicide at the height of her meteoric rise to fame. The novel attempts to discover the truth of Stone's mysterious death and the core of her work through first person interviews with her parents, friends, boyfriends, mentors, critics, and more—punctuated with 63 pieces offull color, original paintings and photographs.

Mercer County Community College to Stage SHREK THE MUSICAL, 5/30-6/8

Everyone's favorite ogre comes to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre when the award-winning Maurer Productions OnStage (MPO) presents 'Shrek the Musical,' a song-and-dance-filled adaptation of the Oscar-winning DreamWorks animated film. Dates and times for this special family event are: Fridays, May 30 and June 6 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, May 31 and June 7 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sundays, June 1 and 8 at 2 p.m. A reception with the cast and crew will follow the opening night performance on May 30.

ATC's HAIR, Helmed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli, Begins Tonight

American Theater Company concludes the 2013-2014 Season with Hair, music & lyrics by James Rado & Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot. WaterTower Theatre today announced the cast for David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People, running June 6 - June 29, 2014 at the Addison Theatre Centre. The ensemble cast stars Jessica Cavanagh as Margaret, Jim Crawford as Mike, Michelle Courtney Schwartz as Jean, Pam Dougherty as Dottie, JuNene K. as Kate and David Price as Stevie.

Smithsonian's Sackler Gallery Presents Largest U.S. Display of American Master James McNeill Whistler Today

'An American in London: Whistler and the Thames,' opening May 3 at the Smithsonian's Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, is the first major exhibition ever devoted to American artist James McNeill Whistler's early period in London, and it is the largest U.S. display of his work in almost 20 years. The exhibition showcases changing views of the capital city's iconic riverbanks and waterways, revealing how Whistler emerged as one of the most innovative and original artists of the 19th century while London evolved into a modern city.

Aurora Theatre Company Extends WITTENBERG Through 5/11

To be or not to be is no longer the question - critics and audiences agree that WITTENBERG is a hit. Aurora Theatre Company announces that it will add an additional 7 performances of the Bay Area Premiere of WITTENBERG, David Davalos' audacious comedy about reason versus faith. Foundry Theatre's THE BOX Will Now Open 4/30

The Foundry Theatre presents a play that exemplifies the company's work: Marcus Gardley's The Box: A Black Comedy. The play, directed by Seth Bockley (writer of February House, director of Philip Dawkins' Failure: A Love Story at Victory Gardens), is a hilarious satire that delivers a punch to the gut of U.S. policing and imprisonment. Written for five actors who perform over a dozen characters spanning generations of captivity and freedom dreams, The Box: A Black Comedy is currently making its world premiere, through May 11 at the Irondale Center (85 South Oxford St., Brooklyn).

MISS SAIGON Alum Miguel Braganza Celebrates 30 Years In the Biz, May 2

Originally from the Philippines, Miguel Braganza II, Walter Terry scholar in the dance performance and choreography program at Harvard University in the '80s, and assistant to Tony Award-winning director John Dexter in the original Broadway production of 'M. Butterfly' from 1988-1990, joined the cast of the U.S. and international productions (Germany, Canada, UK, and Portugal) of Cameron Mackintosh's megamusical 'Miss Saigon' for 14 years: a feat that made him feel so blessed, and has prompted him to donate his time, talents, and resources by teaching young and up-and-coming artists, build libraries, and promote arts programs both in New York and in the Philippines to this day.
