KERRY ELLIS, the award-winning star of the London production of WICKED and Broadway's newest Elphaba, has recorded two songs from WICKED, Defying Gravity and I'm Not That Girl.

Ghostlight Records announced that its Original Cast Recording for 'IN THE HEIGHTS' will debut at #1 on BILLBOARD'S Cast Album Chart.

Principal cast members of 'In The Heights' will celebrate the release of their Original Broadway Cast recording with a Thursday, June 5th, in-store performance at Virgin Megastore in Times Square, 1540 Broadway, at 46th Street.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) will return to Atlanta, Georgia this summer to host the third annual Broadway Boot Camp. With special instruction from stars Shoshana Bean, Gavin Creel, Blake Daniel, Norm Lewis, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Amanda Watkins.

Original Broadway cast members of Rent, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp will reprise their roles in the show's upcoming national tour. The new tour is scheduled to begin in January 2009. The current tour of the show is playing through June 2008.

Singer/songwriter and musical theater composer Jeremy Schonfeld will be performing a solo-concert at New York's Zipper Theater Factory. The show will take place on Monday, March 3 at 9:30PM at The Zipper Factory Theater.

The release of 'I Stand,' the long-awaited and highly anticipated Warner Bros. Records debut of Idina Menzel, took place back on January 29th and hit the Billboard charts at #58, the star's first solo album to do so.

Also newly confirmed for the 21st-anniversary concert production, which takes place on 12 and 13 May 2008, is Broadway star Adam Pascal. Further casting is still to be announced.

Rent, the Tony Award-winning musical by Jonathan Larson, will close on June 1, 2008 at the Nederlander Theatre after over 12 years, making it the seventh-longest-running Broadway show in history.
