On Monday, July 24, 2017, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 13 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2017 nominees at its annual event, The IT Party.

Red Lab Productions (Boris Akunin's Hamlet. A Version) will present the World Premiere of Lasha Bugadze's Navigator in Love, directed by Adam Knight (In the Room with Slant Theatre Project) as part of the Georgian-American Theatrical Feast, a festival of new works written by playwrights from the Republic of Georgia translated into English, July 13-August 6 at Teatro Circulo (64 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) with performances on Thu 7/13, Fri 7/14, Sat 7/15, Sat 7/22, Wed 7/26, Thu 7/27, Fri 7/28, Fri 8/4 & Sat 8/5 @ 8pm, Sun 7/16, Sun 7/23 & Sun 8/6 @ 3pm. The best-selling Russian crime fiction writer Boris Akunin's new stage adaptation of Shakespeare's HAMLET will debut this spring Off-Broadway when Red Lab Productions and Roust Theatre Company present HAMLET. A VERSION, with previews beginning April 21, prior to the official press opening on April 25 at The Theater at St. Clement's (423 W. 46 St.) in New York City. HAMLET. A VERSION is directed by Irina Gachechiladze. The production features original music by Georgian composer Giya Kancheli.

Slant Theatre Project and Kelli Giddish in association with Wheelhouse Theater opened their World Premiere of Lawrence Dial's IN THE ROOM, directed by Adam Knight, on Thursday, October 27 at the Alchemical Theatre (104 West 14th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue). The production will run through November 13th with performances Thursday through Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm.
