NYC & Company, New York City's official destination marketing organization, announced NYC Off-Broadway WeekSM two-for-one tickets are on sale to the public today beginning at 10:30am EST. The popular biannual program now in its ninth year will run February 12 to February 25, 2018, offering visitors and New Yorkers the opportunity to see more than 35 unique Off-Broadway productions at an excellent value. Participating shows-of which 22 are new to NYC Off-Broadway Week for winter 2018-include critics' picks, musical revivals, celebrities, family-friendly themes, long-running classics and more. Off-Broadway League Hires Maricha Miles as First General Manager in 58 Year History

The Off-Broadway League has announced the hire of its first General Manager, Ms. Maricha Miles. Ms. Miles is a non-profit management professional with an extensive background in the performing arts in both the U.S. and Australia and is the first full-time position the Off Broadway League has employed since its founding in 1959. She steps into the role on Monday, July 24.
The Off-Broadway League & United Scenic Artists Announce First Ever Agreement for Off-Broadway Designers

The Off-Broadway League and United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829, IATSE have announced that they have negotiated an inaugural contract for the first ever Agreement for Off-Broadway Designers. The historic deal was reachedamicably, after negotiations concluded early morning on Saturday, March 4th (ironically on the birthday of the Off-Broadway League which was founded on March 4, 1959). Upon ratification, the three yearagreement memorializing standard practice in the industry will go into effect July 2017.
