London's Most Exciting Comedy Night Is Back!

Having previously hosted Suzi Ruffell, Ken Cheng, Heidi Regan and Rob Oldham... StraightUp Productions presents the fifth and sixth editions of our regular night of comedy at The Landor Pub, a stone's throw from Clapham North and Stockwell tube stations. Two remarkable nights of comedy are promised with a line-up of fantastic talents, brought to you in the superb and recently renovated Landor Space!


StraightUp bring together sixteen unique and wonderful acts. With exponents of the surreal, one-liner masters, poetry, music and sketch comedy, StraightUp Comedy #5 and #6 are continuations of our promise to provide our audiences with unforgettable nights of varied, fresh and high-quality comedy in a fantastic setting with a balanced line-up.

StraightUp Productions is a comedy and new writing theatre company comprising recent university graduates Will Dalrymple, Mark Bittlestone and Will Penswick. StraightUp's mission is to produce comedy and new writing that entertains above all else.StraightUp's first four comedy nights at The Landor have played to sold out audiences each time, and subsequently, as of January, StraightUp have entered into a partnership with Radio Ha-Ha! Who broadcast StraightUp Comedy online.

StraightUp are taking their comedy vehicles Pity Laughs (Mark Bittlestone) and Man to Man (Will Dalrymple) to VAULT, Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe festivals this year and Dank Verse (Will Penswick) will play Etcetera Theatre March 23rd and 24th before going to Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.

StraightUp's first two theatrical productions 'Pity Laughs: A Tale of Two Gays' and 'The Oppression Olympics' both played at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe. Their first London show, Will Dalrymple's adaptation of Tristram Shandy, played at the OSO Centre theatre in Barnes from November 7-8 to excellent reviews. London Theatre 1 gave it four stars and wrote 'in short: it's really rather good', while A Younger Theatre described it as 'bubbling with energy and wit'. StraightUp aims to continue to produce entertaining comedy and theatre in London Off West End theatres and Fringe festivals around the UK.
